My Florida garden was a haven for monarch butterflies. For a period of time, I kept a steady supply of milkweed plants to feed the caterpillars. At some point, my porch became a caterpillar nursery and I got to release monarch butterflies several days a week. My love for them continues, although I only see monarch butterflies in the fall here in the Blue Ridge mountains.
