What does it mean to be a photographer? I document nature's beauty using the tools in my camera bag. I want the viewer to see what I see and in doing so be transported to a moment in time, a memory of the smallest flower or the grandest landscape...a recollection of a fragrant flower, a chirping bird or the cool spring breeze and the emotion that accompanies it.
When I'm out in nature communing with the flowers, a feeling of peace washes over me. I can spend an entire lifetime strolling through a flower garden, allowing all my senses to become engaged and finding the perfect scene: perhaps the sunshine lighting up a flower like stained glass or a fragile butterfly industriously feeding on the nectar. Being out in nature photographing resets my equilibrium and that's when I know all is right in the world.
It's my hope that viewing my photos will bring you a sense of peace too. I'm really glad you are joining me on this journey. Maybe you have already seen my photos online or in person or maybe this is your first time. Enjoy looking through the galleries of my newly redesigned website and remember to stop and smell the flowers.
